LMI provides California Profilograph Testing Services that measure a pavement's smoothness, and define areas of surface irregularities and bumps.
In accordance with the California Test Method, LMI measures the number and magnitude of ‘bumps’ exceeding the specified standard and provides a Pavement Ride Index (PRI) for each roadway segement.
LMI provides the service of identifing and locating "must grind" areas, also know as bumps exceeding a specific standard.
LMI also provides skid resistance testing services, typically utilized following recent construction activities.
